What a week! Do I really need to say anything about this crazy presidential election? Right. It’s a pretty casual Friday and I just want to chill and start working on my master plan to make sure that me and my babies are good. Financial literacy and security is my #1 priority going into 2017.

My birthday is coming up and I’m still trying to decide what I want to do. I think I may just treat myself to a spa day and go to dinner with some friends. The Florida Classic always takes over the city on my birthday weekend and I’m not trying to be in that traffic.

The weather is starting to cool down a bit here in Florida and there’s an overcast today. On a casual Friday like this, I just want to be cute and comfortable as I run my errands before the weekend. I’ve been in these black jeggings like every day! Not really every day but I love these pants. They are the perfect mix of fashion and comfort. They are super stretchy so they embrace my curves properly. The distressed knees also make me feel so fly.

Another piece that I have been wearing a lot is this oversized denim jacket. It is a staple piece every glam mom should have in her wardrobe. It’s also super functional with 2 deep pockets on the inside. I can throw my cell phone and sunglasses in them and still have room. This is definitely one of my favorite pieces for Fall.

Then I just threw on a basic white tee with these cute little booties by Cole Haan. The star of this outfit was actually this fringe backpack I bought on clearance for $8 at TJ Maxx.  I thought it was super cute for Fall. I usually wear it when me and the kids are going out for a day and I need to pack all of their stuff.

This is the kind of outfit I put on when I want to be cute, casual and comfortable on a Friday afternoon.
