In order to have a productive week, you have to plan for it. You have to prepare in your mind first before you can actually do it. Say to yourself, “I am going to have a productive week.” Then make it a point to prepare for it.
Make a To-Do List
Take some time to sit down and think about what you need to do for the week. Write out a list of everything you want to accomplish. From the list determine the things that are most important, then schedule no more than 3 tasks per day. This will ensure that all the things get done and you are not stressing yourself over a list. Also, you will not have to roll things that did not get done over to the next day.
Time Block
Schedule some time each day for each daily tasks. Schedule out when you’re going to the gym, when you are going to the grocery store when you’re going to work on your business, etc. Allow yourself a specific amount of time to do each task. This ensures you do not spend too much time on one project and nothing else gets done. Balance is the key.
Meal Plan and Meal Prep
Write out and plan what you will eat each day. Get all the grocery to prepare the meals you want to prepare. You can easily begin to make a few meals on a Sunday and have them for the entire week. One pot meals like soups, pasta, and casseroles work great for this.
Clean the House
Doing all of your major cleaning on the weekend will free up time during the week for you to do other things. A clean space allows you to think better and stay organized easier because things are neat and in this place. You won’t have to spend precious time trying to dig through piles of clothes and tons of paper to find something.
Style Your Daughter’s Hair
This is so huge. If you can put your daughter’s hair in a protective style on Sunday, it will save you a ton of time during the week. You don’t have to worry about getting up in the morning and styling her hair. Braids, twists, and buns work great as protective styles that last all week.
Take Time to Relax
If you do nothing else take some time for you to sit around and do absolutely nothing. You need to take some time to relax and prepare your body and mind for the week ahead.
